KATHRYN'S MANUSCRIPTS

Kathryn creates manuscripts of her unique, intuitive, challenging, meticulous, skilled and inspired compositions in a variety of ways depending on what will best take you or someone you wish to experience the next level of musical discover / adventure like no one else.

On the one hand, some manuscripts are simple, clear executions that are visually bare with no illumination and with minimal detail of the custom composition providing a true professional with a spice free entrée with which they can add their own unique brand of artistically [See Example 1]. On the other hand, she also creates illuminated manuscripts for both the novice and experienced alike [See Example 2].

Kathryn creates illuminated manuscripts using her own expressive notation which liberates the musician into higher levels of artistry and connection with self, music, audience and life or with traditional only notation (as required by the client). Kathryn’s unique notation [See Example 3] is rapidly understood by musicians accustomed to 20th century Western notation. Her illuminated manuscripts serve equally as visual art to the musician, making her compositional pieces investments in both fine art and music circles.

When commissioning a custom composition from Kathryn, she carefully and mysteriously discovers the scent of the musician’s essence thirsty for expression, as well as the missing ingredients in the musician’s life for which the musician hungers, weaves them together creating the unique perfume to transcend the individual musician far beyond where they currently wander.

When commissioning an electronic sound sculpture, Kathryn both mysteriously and technically creates a unique field of sound allowing the listener a new realm to escape, providing various levels to wander and explore.

Each sculpture is a one of a kind, custom piece for the specific individual commissioning the work. Her artistry comes from her cultivated imagination and desire to pour into the ear essences of experience of what the individual doesn’t know for that which he or she thirsts.

All work is done via contract and all work is 100% guaranteed to satisfy if not exceed the expectations of each client. Please note that Kathryn maintains all artistic discretion and control of the creative process, while ensuring careful attention to the unique needs and demands of every individual client.

Manuscript prices are negotiable and billed per minute of estimated performance time per instrument. You can then purchase extra from the following options:-

Sound Sculpture prices are negotiable and billed per minute of real time finished product. You can then purchase extra from the following options:-

Option 3Manuscript to be Performed with Sound Sculpture
Prices are negotiable and billed per minute of real time finished product electronic sound sculpture plus an agreed fixed cost for per performance time minute per instrument. You can then purchase extra from the following options:-

• Unlimited performance rights.
• Original hand-quilled final manuscript.
• Illuminated manuscript [See Example]

Option 4Aleatoric Haute Couture Design

• Billed per page which includes both the original art and first print signed.

The length of time required to complete a commissioned work varries. Deadlines are discussed and agreed upon together by both parties along with any other details before work can begin. All work is negotiable based on an estimated range of $50 to $75 hourly rate. Prices, deadlines and so on must be discussed, agreed and signed in advance with a 50% upfront payment, and 50% balance upon receipt of finished work.

- Contracts are neccessary due to the nature of the work.
